The Westchester Jewish community will host 鈥淎n Evening with 麻豆区,鈥 on Monday, June 8, at 8 p.m., at the Young Israel of New Rochelle, 1149 North Avenue, New Rochelle, New York 10804.
Rabbi Dr. Meir Y. Soloveichik, director of the Zahava and Moshael Straus Center for Torah and Western Thought, will present a talk entitled, 鈥淪erving God and Man in the Twilight Zone: A Religious Reflection on Bein Hashemashot.鈥 YU President Richard M. Joel will discuss 鈥溌槎骨, Today and Tomorrow.鈥
鈥淚n many ways, we are the home university to the Westchester community,鈥 said President Joel. 鈥淚t is critical that we share our collective stories together to build a proud future.鈥
A question-and-answer session will follow the presentations.
