The 鈥檚 Care Caf茅 is helping make the New Year a little brighter for families at .
Located on the Lower East Side, The Island School serves approximately 480 families who are low income and in major need of assistance. Many of these families have been displaced and continue to struggle with many adversities.
Dr. Laurie Blackman, who coordinates the Care Caf茅, is reaching out to the YU community to help these families deal with their severe financial challenges so that they can have a brighter 2020.
鈥淲e ask for your help with providing donations in the form of gift cards or household supplies for these hundreds of families. Please provide your products, gift cards or monetary donations by January 31, 2020.鈥
