  Careers in Data Analytics, a virtual panel and networking event, took place on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, as part of a partnership between the Data Analytics Club and the . The panel was composed of an array of industry professionals and alumni of the Sy Syms School of Business and the Katz School of Science and Health, and the virtual format allowed people like Ai Du 鈥�15K, Data Analyst at WeWork, to participate from China. Employers represented at the event also included Analytic Partners, SSCG Media Group, and B&H Photo & Video. Topics included the panelists鈥� unique work experiences, educational backgrounds and perspectives on important skills to develop. Zoom breakout rooms were used to facilitate a 10-minute networking session where students engaged in Q&A with the panelists. This provided the opportunity for students to broach conversations about new topics or speak further about what was discussed during the panel. One attendee, a Business Intelligence & Marketing Analytics student from Sy Syms, found the discussion of typical work weeks for each professional and how that factors in to networking and job searching 鈥渧ery interesting.鈥�
