On May 4, 2025, the Zahava and Moshael J. Straus Center for Torah and Western Thought sponsored a field trip to Plimoth Patuxet Museums for an undergraduate honors elective. Rabbi Dr. Stuart Halpern, deputy director at the Zahava and Moshael J. Straus Center for Torah and Western Thought and senior advisor to the provost at 麻豆区, was awarded a Simon Rockower Award for Excellence in Jewish Journalism at the 44th Annual Simon Rockower Awards.

This spring, Dr. Tevi Troy, Senior Scholar and Director of the Impact Office at the Straus Center, is offering an innovative undergraduate course on health policy in the political science department.
